Productivity, botanical composition and insect population of seven dryland pasture species in Canterbury after eight years (PDF 1.7 MB)

Research Overview

For her Masters thesis Nicole investigated different dryland pasture options for sheep and beef farms in New Zealand. She worked within the MaxClover Grazing Experiment at Lincoln and collected her results in the 8th year of the experiment. Measurements included yield, composition, water use and insect populations under the established pastures. Nicole was supervised by Prof. Derrick Moot.

Nicole has previously worked for Pioneer (Genetic Technologies Limited) and as a senior research agronomist at Midlands Seed Ltd. She is now a Technical Specialist at Corteva Agriscience.
