Growth and development of four elite wheat cultivars grown in Canterbury
Research Overview
Charlotte is evaluating growth and development of four elite wheat cultivars commonly used in Canterbury. By sowing these cultivars at four times, from February to May, she will provide information on how these cultivars build their yield and quantify important developmental phases in order to explain their effects on canopy development, final yield and yield components. Charlotte is supervised by Prof. Derrick Moot and Dr Mariana Andreucci. Part of her studies are funded by a postgraduate scholarship from FAR.
